My Northeast and Yours

Animation and Artist Archive

My Northeast and Yours is a project that combines a community-created stop motion animation project with an archive of artist interviews that I recorded in the early days of Northeast Minneapolis’ Art-A-Whirl. People sent me images and I animated them between May 16 and 24, 2020. Watch the process and the animated film that resulted and also check out the videos that I uploaded, a virtual tour of the Northeast Minneapolis arts scene from the last years of the last millennium. I try to explain it all in this video.
